That’s the rank Gintama is listed on My Anime List. It also nearly made the top 100 in popularity out of the thousands of anime listed on the site. Two years ago I was intrigued since it was a comedy and it was highly rated, so I gave it a whirl with great expectations.
…Nebraska and Japan are two different areas of the world. Both have their own cultural nuances, but do they share any similarities to each other while being separated by thousands of miles? Or is everything completely contrasting between the state and the country?
…I was playing Black Desert yesterday, strolling around the beautiful port town of Velia, completing mundane quests so I can move on to the next city. I happened to notice something that caught my eye.
…After my debacle with deciding on a family name, the next task was to create my character. Since I was the Archer class, it preloaded a Legolas look alike as my template. But of course I can’t just have Brogolas be another Legolas character; he has to be unique. So unique that he looks exactly like me.
…I live in the grand ‘ol state of Nebraska in the great United States of America. Except for two major cities, Lincoln and Omaha, most of this state is what people consider flyover country. It’s basically smack dab in the middle of the country with not a lot of majestic scenery.
…The game I am currently playing right now is Black Desert Online for Xbox One. I saw their advertisement on YouTube where it showed some amazing graphics for the character creation and gameplay for the mobile game, and I was sold. However, I despise playing mobile games on a 5.8 inch screen because my hands become cramped (like when i play on the GBA SP or the old Nintendo DS). I remember seeing streams of Black Desert on the Mixer channel, so I made the choice to purchase the console version so I could play on my 50 inch TV. This was the first MMORPG I have ever played in my life, so I was in for a world of extreme confusion.
…So I finished the series Kado: The Right Answer a few days ago trying to binge through my enormous backlog of anime in my queue. While I give the anime some high praises for its realistic idea on how humans would deal with extra-dimensional beings, there was one occurrence that bothered me throughout the series.
